One of the postmoderns solutions to this problem is to talk about 'free argumentative essay topics.' And they do it well. The topic does not belong to anyone and everyone is equally interested in this and many do not feel obliged to stick to the topic as if it were something special.
They have to admit that argumentative essay topics are universal. This is also a good time to acknowledge that there are so many good arguments that one could make. Let's see them.
One of the best examples of free argumentative essay topics is the debate between Plato and Aristotle. They never argued. All they did was offer thoughts based on reality and logic. You don't find them debating their point of view on television. There is a reason for this.
It is not enough to say you are right on the first or second page of the book. It has to be a whole year's worth of thought and ideas that makes it the best book ever written. And so, when you read the opening lines of the Book of Genesis and it begins with a choice that will not make sense if you know all the rest of the story, you might think it is something like this. 'Adam and Eve had been sent from God.' But let's go back to what Plato and Aristotle really said and we see that there was nothing esoteric about what they wrote.
For those of us who are interested in getting better at writing essays, we can use free argumentative essay topics to our advantage. Writing a great argumentative essay will get you an A grade. So, when you get your exam, remember to not worry about getting Ain writing, but get an A in the argumentative essay topic.
Another example is an experiment that was done. A group of people were taken to a lake where they put a teaspoon of some colorless liquid in each of their mouths. Then they were told to act out how many times they could say, 'The water looks like it is running out.'
They could drink the ice-cold water or ice-cold milk. They were told that they had only three minutes and the experiment was over. This is not an argumentative essay topic; it is a scientific experiment.
